Order Cancellation Policy

This Order Cancellation Policy explains how cancellation requests are handled for purchases made through modwoodly, including eligibility, timing, and refund handling.


1. Cancellation Eligibility

An order may be eligible for cancellation if it meets both of the following conditions:

  • Timing Condition – The cancellation request is submitted within 48 hours of placing the order.

  • Status Condition – The order has not been packed, shipped, or handed to a logistics provider.

Requests received outside this timeframe or after the order has entered the dispatch process may no longer be eligible for cancellation. Each request is assessed based on actual order status rather than submission time alone.


2. How to Request a Cancellation

To request a cancellation, customers should contact our support team and provide:

  • Order number

  • Name or contact information used at checkout

  • A brief reason for the cancellation request (optional)

Requests are reviewed individually to ensure accurate handling. Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee approval.


3. Refund Handling and Timing

If a cancellation is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout (Visa or MasterCard)

  • Refunds generally appear in your account within 3–7 business days, depending on the payment provider

  • If the refunded amount does not appear after this period, customers are encouraged to contact support for assistance

Refunds are processed once the cancellation is confirmed and internal checks are completed.


4. Situations Where Cancellation May Not Apply

Cancellation may not be available if:

  • The order has already been shipped or is in transit

  • The 48-hour cancellation period has passed

  • The order has entered fulfilment or logistics processing

In these cases, customers may refer to the applicable Refund Policy after delivery.
